Welcome,

Kia ora, my name is Mandi.

Thank you for visiting this space. Here, you will find out a bit about me and how I work alongside people. I hope this helps you sense if working with me is a good fit for you.

As an Occupational Therapist, Life Coach and EFT Practitioner, I support women to notice and understand their stress and how it affects their lives.

I offer practical, down-to-earth tools to manage stress so that women can experience better health, more positive relationships, more meaning and purpose in their lives.

Together, we will explore how stress and anxiety is impacting your life, give you the tools to reduce the impact, and create an individualised well-being plan that supports your health and happiness.

You will learn; how your nervous system responds to your environment, tools which will help you to manage your anxiety outside of our sessions, how to set boundaries and how to look after yourself. All of these skills will help you to better care for those around you.

After a year working with Mandi, there is no chance I’d go back to traditional coaching/counselling methods. EFT is something I had to be open about trying as I couldn’t get my head around how it works. The sessions with Mandi are at a different level. They take therapy away from your conscious thoughts and dive deep to resolve the matters at their core. Every time I leave that room, I wonder if she’s magic. I cannot recommend Mandi highly enough.

Occupational Therapy is the lens through which I view my clients’ lives.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is the primary tool I use to help facilitate change alongside a client.

My experience in this area informs my view of working with women who are feeling the impact of stress, anxiety and trauma in their lives.

Through this lens, your ‘occupation’ is everything you do in your life.

Together, we start by exploring questions such as:

What does your life currently look like?

Where does stress/anxiety/trauma show up in your life?

How would you like this to be different?

Who/what in your life gives you meaning and purpose?

After we understand what’s happening for you, I use an evidence-based stress-management tool to help support these areas of your life: EFT.

The EFT /‘Tapping’ Tool

EFT is an evidence-based stress-management tool that helps us to dial down fight/flight activity in order to see and think clearly.

It allows us to reduce the levels of stress we are feeling in our bodies and minds, in order to get on with our lives in a happier and healthier way.

The EFT process helps us to understand how the stress response works within us, it gets to the bottom of our core beliefs that are affecting how we see and react to our world that may be unhelpful.

EFT helps us to let go of anything we are holding on to that stops us from moving forward to a life with better health, meaningful relationships, experiences and purpose.

A first step…

I welcome you to contact me to set up a free, no obligation phone/video call chat where you can get a feel for if I am the right person with the right approach for you.

From there, we would set an initial session to further explore your needs and set some goals/intentions for working together.
